I make complex products make sense.

Hi, I’m Hope. I shape how technical products go to market, especially when their capabilities have outgrown their story. I turn that complexity into positioning buyers understand, campaigns they act on, and GTM systems teams are glad exist.

Work philosophy

Hope to a complicated product = A moth to a flame

Product positioningNarrative designGTM strategyAI commercializationCustomer insightLifecycleSales enablement

Complexity is an invitation I’m always keen to accept.

Engineers build remarkable things by going deep: into the systems, constraints, capabilities, and edge cases that make a product work. I love that depth—even when the people closest to the build have gotten a little navel-gazey about it.

What I love even more, though? Finding the human thread through all of it, then turning a constellation of features into a story the right customer can immediately recognize as “hecho pa’ mí.”

That principle underlies everything I do: translating technical possibility into commercial clarity without sanding off what made the product remarkable in the first place.

The formative years

I also spent a bit of a lot of time listening closely.

Years in transcription quality control and enterprise localization taught me how precision behaves under deadline: where meaning gets lost, how quality is judged, and why the last 2% of editorial care matters.

The Brian Phillips article alert

I really enjoy Brian Phillips’s writing, but The Ringer doesn’t send out author-specific notifications. So I built a Google Apps Script digest that scours his feed every Friday and surfaces only new articles—right when weekend-reading Hope needs them.

Do you need a sharp second brain for one stubborn question or someone who'll get right under the hood?

B2B/C SaaS consultation

When one knot needs untying, bring me in for a focused working session. I’ll get up close and personal with the product, pressure-test its positioning, funnel, launch, or lifecycle problem, and leave you with a clear diagnosis, prioritized recommendations, and next moves your team can take pronto.

a penny for Hope's thoughts

A fractional or full-time engagement

Hand me the keys and enough context to be dangerous. I’ll join the marketing function, find the gaps between product, story, systems, and execution, then help slot in the necessary pieces—whether that means starting from scratch or giving a proven product a marketing makeover.

Recognitions & Awards

A gallery for the moments that affirmed the work, the craft, and the people behind both.

My favorite thing about our winning demo—besides the brilliant Dundie trophy—was the fact that it kept generating qualified pipeline for Org IQ (then Email Vault) weeks and months after we snagged the first prize missed the Italy trip.

(Kinda still harboring a grudge against that prize wheel, as you can tell.)

Our wedge? Tying a shiny new feature to an instantly recognizable workplace situation.
